Located a scenic hour-long drive through the Gallatin National Forest south of Bozeman, Big Sky has never been easier to access. Skiing

300 degrees of skiing off Lone Peak, surrounded by three other mountains, spans 5,850 acres of terrain to explore. If you’re just starting out on the snow, 2,300 of those acres are beginner and intermediate terrain that’s perfect for learning and improving your technique. For the experts, Big Sky provides lift-served access to some of the most aggressive in-bounds terrain in the world.

IKON Pass

Big Sky is available on the IKON pass (max 7 days) or IKON Base Pass/IKON Base Plus pass (max 5 days). All IKON Pass holders will need to make a reservation to use their days at Big Sky. Reservations start on August 1st, 2023, please make sure to make them as soon as possible for the days you plan on skiing. The Loan Peak Tram is NOT covered under any of the IKON PASS products so additional fees are required to ride it. Reservations are done from the IKON Pass website or mobile app.
