- ** If you choose to explore other ski areas, there are also vans that can transport you to Brighton and Solitude for an additional fee – Both mountains are included on your IKON pass Snowbird: Averaging more than 500 inches of annual snowfall per year, Snowbird is North America’s most accessible alpine resort destination, located just 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport. With the mountain’s iconic Aerial Tram providing access to 2,500 acres of legendary terrain, Snowbird is home to year-round big mountain experiences at the top of Utah.
- Alta: Alta Ski Area is 1 mile up the road from Snowbird. Our mountain is world-renowned for its steep and deep powder skiing, averaging 543 inches of snow each winter. Did you know that 45% of our terrain is suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers?
It is accessible via the local shuttle, or the connection gate at the saddle separating Alta’s Albion Basin and Snowbird’s Mineral Basin. This gate is accessible with the Alta-Snowbird ticket, which enables skiers to access terrain at both resorts.
Alta Ski Area is for skiers and restricts the use of snowboards.
Hotel Accommodations
THE CLIFF LODGE is one of North America’s most iconic ski lodges. Appreciate the majesty of Little Cottonwood Canyon from each room, whether facing Snowbird’s ski slopes or peering down the glacially carved canyon that spills into Salt Lake City below. Enjoy the Ski-In/Ski-Out convenience with many restaurants and a general store on site.
Just a bridge away from Snowbird’s pedestrian village. An on-site ski rental, repair shop, and complimentary ski lockers with boot dryers add to the convenience of the hotel. A wide range of amenities includes: an exercise room, resort-wide internet service, room service, concierge, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and three hot tubs.
The Cliff Spa is also available to guests for an additional fee.

You must secure your spot for the trip with an initial non-refundable deposit of $250 per person through the club website. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, you must provide written notice to the trip leader. If participants choose to cancel, the following charges will apply (per person) based upon the date of receipt of written cancellation notice:
