Snowbird

Only a 45-minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City, Snowbird’s jaw-dropping home in Little Cottonwood Canyon makes this unparalleled resort feel worlds away. The Bird—as devotees affectionately refer to it—spans more than 2,500 acres of mountain peaks, snow-packed bowls and wide-open groomed runs. Summer at The Bird is as vibrant as winter, with hiking, Scenic Tram Rides, summer activities, one of the West’s largest Oktoberfest celebrations and more. 

Alta

Alta Ski Area is 1 mile up the road from Snowbird. It is accessible via the local shuttle. Also, a connection gate sits at the saddle separating Alta’s Albion Basin and Snowbird’s Mineral Basin. This gate is accessible with the Alta-Snowbird ticket, which enables skiers to access terrain at both resorts.

Alta Ski Area is for skiers and restricts the use of equipment other than skis for anyone who wants to ride the lifts, ski the mountain, or play around the base areas.

Hotel Accommodations

THE CLIFF LODGE is one of North America’s most iconic ski lodges. Appreciate the majesty of Little Cottonwood Canyon from each room, whether facing Snowbird’s ski slopes or peering down the glacially carved canyon that spills into Salt Lake City below. Enjoy the Ski-In/Ski-Out convenience with many restaurants and a general store on site.

Just a bridge away from Snowbird’s pedestrian village. An on-site ski rental, repair shop, and complimentary ski lockers with boot dryers add to the convenience of the hotel. A wide range of amenities includes: an exercise room, resort-wide internet service, room service, concierge, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and three hot tubs.

Included in each Cliff Lodge room: Hairdryer, coffee maker, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board.

After a day on the mountain, relax at The Cliff Spa. Enjoy spectacular views of the canyon while you relax by the heated rooftop pool & hot tub. Access to the spa is available for guests for an additional fee and reservations are required in advance.

Payment Schedule

CHECKS RETURNED AS UNPAID BY THE BANK WILL BE ASSESSED A $40.00 fee per occurrence.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, you must provide written notice to the trip leader. If participants choose to cancel, the following charges will apply (per person) based upon the date of receipt of written cancellation notice:

Between November 2nd – December 4th 2026   $295.00
Between December 5th 2026 – January 3rd 2027  $595.00
