AE Ski Club Membership Benefits

Week Trips

We take care of all the travel details such as, air travel, bus transfers, lodging, and lift tickets, allowing you to concentrate on skiing and having fun on the slopes. Once we arrive at our final destination, you have a free schedule until day of departure.

Our trips usually include 30-45 people with a wide variety of interests and skiing abilities. The skiing level varies from beginner to expert, with most skiers falling in the intermediate to advanced intermediate category. A few non-skiers join our trips, particularly on our European trips where sightseeing opportunities sometimes compete with the skiing! Some European trips may include a 3 day extension to a popular European city at the end of a week of skiing.

Each trip normally includes a welcome gathering and the opportunity to meet and  socialize with others who might ski at your level. It is entirely your choice to participate in group activities or not. AE Ski Club trips are known for providing  a friendly, relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

Our trips are known for their top-quality destinations and accommodations. We are a not-for-profit organization, with a goal of keeping snow sports affordable.

AE Ski Club members also enjoy the benefits of membership in the CT Ski Council, including:

  • Awareness Days – discounted lift tickets at certain mountains on many days each season.
  • Discounted Bulk Tickets – discounted tickets for purchase that can typically be used at the selected mountain throughout the season. Bulk tickets are purchased in the early fall by the member for the upcoming season through the AE Ski Club. Bulk tickets are a great way to plan a ski getaway with family and friends at a reduced price.
  • Special Discount Days – special deals offered for certain resorts for various days and times throughout the season.
  • Kids Day – a mountain and a day is selected each year for kids to learn to ski for free.
  • Winter Carnival – multiple ski clubs across New England participate in a winter carnival at a New England ski resort.
  • Ski Racing League – all ages welcome, no experience needed.
